Description
We're a boutique UX Design agency looking for a Production Designer. Must have experience with mobile and web interfaces (not graphic/marketing/print design). You’ll help design and prep detailed user interfaces for mobile and web applications. This includes design collaboration, file and asset preparation, and developer support roles.
You’ll need 1 - 2 years experience in UI design, a sharp eye for details, and a readiness to work with deep UI concepts.
Skills we're looking for:
- Experience with web & mobile development cycles
- Strong visual design skills and background (color, type, layout etc)
- Mobile and web experience
- Familiarity / Proficiency with industry software (Sketch preferred, also Adobe suite and various wireframe & prototyping tools)
- Passion for pixel perfection
- Focus on user centered design & usability
- Solid understanding of web, IOS & Android technology (you don't need to know how to write the code, but you do need to be able to communicate with developers on process & design)
- Comfortable with online collaboration tools (Basecamp, Jira, etc)
What you’ll be doing:
- Participating in design process for complex user interfaces
- Reviewing and proofing designs for pixel perfection
- Prepping, cleaning and organizing design files
- Slicing and managing production assets
- Providing follow up support to developers
- Developing and maintaining design documentation

Local candidates only. There will be a combination of on-site as well as off-site work. To start, roughtly 10 - 15 hrs per week onsite.
