Description
Leading Global Solutions Provider requires a Solaris Systems Administrator for a contract role based in Dublin. You will ideally be SOLARIS 10 Certified and your primary responsibility will be to maintain the Solaris operating environment but you will be expected to contribute to all areas of responsibility of the team.
You will be expected to perform the following:
- Provide operational and design support for the Solaris 10 operating environment.
- Provide operational support for networking systems.
- Perform data centre installation and maintenance tasks.
- Respond to incidents and escalate to vendors and support teams as required.
- Must have strong Shell and Perl Scripting experience
- Be willing to work on-call
