Description
Roc Search is currently recruiting for a UX Lead for an initial 6 month contract role based in The Hague, Netherlands.
*Educational background in HCI/Product design.
*Experience leading, inspiring and guiding junior UX design professionals. Overseeing junior designs on larger projects.
*Line and project management experiences.
*Recent hands-on UX lead experience - will also be required to deliver UX outputs.
*Worked within an agile/lean UX process delivery and environment.
*Full comprehensive knowledge UX design process.
*Comfortable with communicating with stakeholders as well as producing quality UX deliverables to communicate design direction.
*Experience collaborating closely with visual designers, researchers and technology professionals to arrive at the best possible solutions.
*Used to and is comfortable with complex UI problems within technical constraints.
Desirable Experiences:
*Data visualisation.
*Complex data driven sectors (eg Logistics, Financial services).
*Experience with ideation and innovation.
*Problem solving experiences related to addressing internal business challenges with complex technology and platforms.
Project/Industry Experience:
*Experience of using research to inform user experience design decisions.
*Experience of agile delivery methodology
Day to day tasks:
*Attending workshops and driving key decisions overseeing key aspects of design solutions.
*Feeding into agile sprint planning.
*UX deliverables and production.
*Maintaining and managing project and Programme Manager expectations.
*Close collaborations with other team leads across - Research, Visual Design and Technology to identify better ways of working within different project teams.
*Close cooperation and collaboration with clients. Forming part of the overall agile product teams.
Duration: 6 months+
Rate: £380/day
