A large University based in the North are currently recruiting for an experienced Pro-Vice-Chancellors's Executive Officer.The client has had great success with an appointment of the Vice Chancellor's Officer, that they are now hoping to appoint an Officer to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor.
The main function of the role is to support the PVC and the following duties:
- Compiling, analysing, interpreting and interrogating data from a variety of internal and external sources; and producing integrated reports that are solution-driven and support decision making.
- Undertaking special projects of a varying nature, typically requiring a more or lesser degree of research, including on matters pertaining to the higher educational environment, that are of strategic importance to the University.
- Drafting key institutional strategic documents, working with other teams where necessary to ensure that publication occurs in a timely manner.
- Preparing contributions to Management Reports and other documents for Council and Senate as well as reports and papers for other meetings.
- Assisting the Pro-Vice-Chancellor with documentation and preparation of papers to be submitted to Executive and Senior Management Group meetings as required.
- Working with the communications team to prepare and implement a plan of communications activities for the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, liaising with colleagues and external stakeholders as appropriate.
- Coordinating the input of different individuals and teams, and other related tasks as directed by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor.
