Description
Gist: A compression script is required to compress video files...need to use algorithms like LZMA etc...This needs to be a client side script. Needs to run on windows & Mac end user machines.Desired compression of video at least 80-90%
- Proposed solution must be compatible with Windows and Macintosh environments. Please confirm.
· Proposed solution will be a command-line tool or a code base library that can be integrated into our desktop application?
· IMPORTANT: The proposed/final solution must be able to achieve 80%-90% compression (even more if possible) on raw video footage which can be of any format like MXF, MP4, AVI etc.
o Note: We’re not interested in file format conversion but simply file compression (utilizing any industry standards like LZMA or Brotli etc.)
· Can you provide demonstrable evidence/samples of the above critical requirement?
· Proposed tool/library should be able to compress and decompress multiple files in one go as a queue.
o Resultant compressed file need not be explorable in Windows/Mac (Not a requirement that the compressed file can be opened by the user and explore its contents)
· Will the proposed tool/library provide progress feedback so the same can be interpreted by the host application and display the appropriate progress UI to the user?
