Our client in Bristol, CT has a long term contract for an experience Electronic Technician.
- Will be responsible for providing VTR (Video Tape Recorder) support.
- Will repair and maintain all the various Broadcast Video Tape Recorders. Must have prior experience repairing VTR's or similar equipment.
- Desired VTR experience would be with Sony 3/4, 1, and 1/2 formats, Panasonic D5, and DVC PRO decks.
- Must be able to perform a rebuild of the mechanical transport systems, including head and drum replacement, and electrical alignment.
- Will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on the decks throughout the facility.
- Will be responsible for maintaining a parts inventory.
- Should have a strong electronic and mechanical ability.
- Must be able to read schematics and maintenance procedures.
- Must have experience using oscilloscopes.
