Visual Designer - 12 month contract - Glasgow
One of Harvey Nash's leading clients based in Glasgow is looking to recruit another Visual Designer to join one of it's most celebrated teams on an initial 12 month contract.
The team, comprised of Interaction Designers, Visual Designers and UI Developers delivers user-centred design and strategy projects across the business. Known for their open and collaborative team culture and highly valued skill set, the team thrive on challenging the status quo and delivering solutions that create tangible benefits for both users and the business.
The ideal candidate will need to be detail orientated and fascinated with how the visual design of information systems impacts use and understanding. You will need to be comfortable with the User Design process and look for ways to improve it.
Skills Required:
- Follow an iterative User
-Centred Design Processes
- Work collaboratively in cross
-disciplinary design teams
- Create beautiful interface designs
- Define and create graphic systems & style guides
Skills Desired:
- Strong Interaction Design Skills
- Strong Visual Design & Communication Skills
- Experience with Web application or Software design (AJAX/FLEX technologies)
- Good writing skills
- Financial Services industry experience a plus
