VMware Specialist (Integration, Virtualisation, Cloud)
GIOS Technology are currently working closely with one of our global IT Services partners who are looking to hire a virtualisation specialist with very strong VMware integration experience.
Essential Experience
- 9+ years' experience in the IT Sector.
- Very strong virtualisation experience especially with vCloud service provider version with advanced networking & management
- Experience writing adapters for VMware integration with external systems like DR solution, Backup solution, SAP & Service Now
- Experience configuring and deploying all components of vCloud service provider version with advanced networking & management like NSX, load balancing, tenant creation, VDCs, vRA, vRO, metering, charge back
- Also involves deployment of 3 tier architectures including Middleware,applications & databases, provisioning of service blue prints, creation of dashboards & reports from vCenter/Service Now,backup & DR solutions
- Proficiency in VMware associated programs and coding languages, such as Windows Server, MS IIS, SAN architecture, WebSphere, Citrix, Python, and C++.
- Good knowledge of Integrating VMware solution with AWS and Azure
Desirable Experience
- Degree in Computer Science of IT related field.
- Strong agile delivery experience
- Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional.

- Experience working in alignment with other technical teams on the overall delivery of large-scale projects.
- Strong communication skills
