Description
Seeking a Senior Web Application and UI developer for a minimum 6 month contract position on a client project in the Los Angeles area. Client is a leader in the digital entertainment industry and is looking for top talent to contribute on a number of innovative initiatives. Focus for this role will be on front-end web application design/development with an emphasis on Flex, JavaScript and HTML5 technologies
Desired Experience:
- 5+ years experience developing applications using HTML 4/5, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, JSON
- 5+ plus years experience using design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- 2+ plus years experience developing applications using Flash/Flex technologies is highly desirable
- Experience working on multimedia projects such as video players and OSMF
- Experience using web design/developement tools such as Adobe DreamWeaver and Adobe Fireworks
- Good understanding of Object Oriented languages and concepts
- Experience using versioning software such as CVS and SVN
- Experience working in Windows, MacOS and Linux environments
Hourly contract position at a competitive rate, with a high likelihood of extending for a year or longer.
