An excellent opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Web Developer to work for one of our prestigious clients on a permanent basis in Dublin.

As a Web Developer you will develop, test, implement and document .NET applications.
  • Complete all development in the required time-scale as set out the client.
  • In addition to Product/Feature development, provide a degree of production support for existing clients' .NET and classic systems.
  • Specify and code quality-driven .NET solutions to meet the business requirements of individual client companies and some classic systems.
  • Develop solutions that are secure, retain the flexibility of the system, and have the potential for re-use with other client companies.
  • Contribute to overall team/project plans to ensure all agreed client delivery dates are achieved.


The candidate will have a high level of experience and ability in Microsoft .NET web development, ideally in the financial services industry. We require quality-driven individuals with the following:

Proven development experience in the following technologies:
  • .NET Frameworks 2.0 - 4.0
  • ASP.NET Forms development (VB.NET / C# ), IIS 6 & 7
  • JQUERY / JavaScript
  • AJAX (.net toolkit)
  • WCF Web Service development and configuration
  • 3rd Party controls (Dev Express)
  • Team Foundation Server (Source Control)
  • SQL (data design, stored procedure development, TSQL, SSIS)
  • Knowledge of HTML 4.01, XHTML 1.0, WCAG accessibility standards,
  • Good knowledge of XML, XSLT, XSD, distributed systems development.
  • Experience of Team Foundation Server source control, branching and merging schemes.
