Web Developer ( Front End ) - Belgium
English & French language requirement.
The work will be done in Brussels, with occasional visits to Luxembourg.
EXPERIENCE REQUESTED
Proven experience in consolidating and maintaining complex websites' graphical designs, eg in the context of a SharePoint-based system upgrade
Web Site Graphical Design specialist, preferably with a degree in the field
Extensive knowledge and experience in the main client-end web languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), including the current versions of such tools and standards (HTML5, CSS3)
Experience in applying responsive design principles to the creation of complex site structures
Good knowledge of Internet applications development and their architectures, with a good understanding of underlying performance aspects
Ability to work in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and team spirit
Service-oriented attitude, ability to work with internal customers to accurately capture their requirements and execute on their objectives
Ability to cope with fast-changing technologies used in application developments
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
The tasks will imply the provision of technical assistance and execution in the field of web design within the upgrade project. The work will include the following activities:
Provide technical expertise to the team on web content upgrade from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013, the platforms on which the architecture is based.
Assist the infrastructure and web design teams with the transition of graphical and content components through the technical and content upgrade phases.
Assist the infrastructure, web design and communication teams with the design and development of graphical and functional web components as and when required.
Provide support and assistance, from a web design perspective, to individual web teams as their hosted web sites are updated to fit in a new responsive model.
Provide assistance with the implementation and documentation of graphical and related technical changes required within the environment.
12 month project with extensions on 7.5 hours/day ion pleasant working surrounds.
