Our Dallas Client seeks a Webmaster located in Billerica, Massachusettes for a 12-month contract.
Job Description
- Responsible for creating and delivering high-standard digital designs for business communications.
- Prepare plans for Web sites, identifying goals, operational objectives, and strategic approach based on documented client requirements.
- Implement appropriate site architecture.
- Liaise with appropriate content providers and systems experts as they relate to web site development projects.
- Take responsibility for website administration of previously developed sites which includes an ongoing lead role to ensure accuracy and consistency of information posted on these sites.
- Provide advice and counsel to clients on the appropriate and effective presentation of Web documentation by promoting the proper use of Hypertext Mark-up Language, while maintaining HTML standards as well as federal government Internet standards.
- Perform detailed modelling of application architecture components using UML, working closely with the technical architecture team in delivering an overall integration architecture.
- Determine priorities as they relate to the information to be posted on web sites.
- Coordinate quality control, monitoring and implementing new Web publishing tools.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in digital design, graphic design, Multimedia Design or graphic communications. - +5 years of HTML; JAVASCRIPTl XML and CSS; proficiency with the Adobe Design Software Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, etc.)
- Ability to work with business people in a collaborative design and development environment, able to support and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-pased, deadline driven environment.
- Strong business and technical communication skills (written and oral.)
- Good understanding of Internet Architecture and IT Infrastructure and jQuery.
- Solid design skills to deliver compelling, strategy-driven graphics within schedule and budget.
