A leading Swiss tier-1 banking client of mine are currently looking for a WebSphere MQ Specialist for a job opportunity in Zürich.
This bank has always been at the forefront of technology advancements and development of banking applications, and they currently need a WebSphere MQ Specialist. As the WebSphere MQ Specialist, you will be working with my client's Messaging Services team to develop end to end configurations. You will be responsible for documenting all configurations using Microsoft Word and/or Visio, developing object defined scripts and providing the subsequent support to test teams following configuration deployment. You will also have to be able to troubleshoot and correct configuration issues. Some key skills you will need for this job are:
- Excellent technical skills in WebSphere MQ (specifically in MQ Clustering and SSL)
- Good knowledge on both mainframe (Z/OS) and distributed platforms such as Unix, Linux, Solaris, or Windows
- Scripting knowledge
- Good documentation skills
- Good communication skills
- Fluent English
This is for a contract position initially lasting until the end of the year 2018. Ideally, you are available immediately. Please note, you should be eligible to work in Switzerland if you are applying for this role.
