Windows Configuration Engineer (Puppet or Chef or Ansible)
Our client is leading E-commerce organisation based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. They are looking for x2 Engineers with experience in Windows DSC configuration and page tools such as Puppet (preferred), Chef or Ansible. This is a 2 year contract opportunity to be based out of Rotterdam and the rate being offered is competitive.

The Role
Working within a team of 6 Engineers you role is to through Puppet/Microsoft DSC perform the following processes:
- Establish and manage Windows Application Servers (Prod.)
- Configure IIS.
- SQL Database Servers PostGres eg, SQL Server, Oracle (including database backups, scalability, failover, log shipping, permissions.).
- NoSQL harrow RavenDB (including database backups, scalability, failover, log shipping, permissions.).
Setting up and managing Windows software development environments (Dev, Test, Acceptance).
Experience Required
- Proven experience with Puppet, Chef or Ansible as a tool on a Windows platform.
- English speaking, Dutch is a bonus.
- Experience with IT best practices, including development life cycle, configuration management, deployment of new versions of (system) software, applications, implementation planning, troubleshooting, monitoring, support.
