Position SummaryThe Windows Device Driver Engineer is responsible for developing core technology for use in a Windows operating system. He will work within an engineering team and interface with all levels of management.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate user space and device driver software in Microsoft Windows 7 and later OS
- Collaborate with other engineers to develop detailed software design documentation
- Develop virtualization technology related new features on Windows
- Support internal and external customers
- Provide accurate engineering estimates
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well in a team
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience with all aspects of Windows driver software design, development and debugging
- Experience with Windows file system filter driver design, development and debugging
- Working knowledge of virtualization technologies including hypervisors, and virtual machines.
- Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree, or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in system software design and/or development on Windows
- Must be a US Citizen or have the ability to work in the US without sponsorship
Highly desirable skills and experience
- 2+ years of experience in Windows Driver development
- Windows Kernel environment and debugging tools
- Proficient in C and/or C++
- Windows system level programming including multithreaded development concepts
- Experience with working in startup company
