Description
We are currently recruiting for a Windows Embedded Linux Software Developer for our client based in Switzerland in an exciting new role -Main tasks/duties:
Design and Implementation of Board Support Package (BSP) for Windows CE and / or embedded Linux for the latest ARM processor generation
Evaluation and implementation of new operating system versions (eg Windows Embedded Compact)
Use when creating the system requirements for the latest generation of surveying instruments
Development of embedded applications
Ensure our high product quality by developing and executing platform-specific tests for the used embedded operating system
Your profile:
Degree (university, technical college or equivalent degree)
Experience with Windows CE or embedded Linux platform development (Kernel Development / hardware-specific programming / driver development) with C or C ++
Very good C / C ++ - knowledge and many years of experience in object oriented programming
Understanding of the ARM processor architecture
Experience with hardware debugger and / or emulators advantage
Very good knowledge of English and German
