Job Description
- Defines the test strategy and plan for applications
- Define entry and exit criteria for successful testing of Win 7 migration testing
- Definition of application test environment requirements
- Selection of test tool and provider
Project Management
- Test planning and tracking for Win & migration testing
- Ensure the service provider is providing services based on the agreed SLAs
- Allocates and oversees test resources, ensuring test policies are adhered to
- Provides management reporting on application test progress, test outcomes, success rates, issues and risks Management of test execution
- Designs and plans testing conditions, test scripts and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
- Coordinate conduction of application tests as defined in the test plans and design
- Verifies tests conducted by other streams
Responsibilities
- The main responsibility of the test manager is to lead, supervise and ensure the delivery of services offered by a third part service provider
- Ensure Effective and efficient execution of all win7 migration project
- He/She is also responsible to coordinate with testing activities with the infrastructure/foundation stream and make sure testing activities required as basis for application
- The test manager needs to have experience in the use of HP Quality center and knowledge of QTP
- The test manager needs to be ISTQB advanced certified
