Description

Consol Partners are working with a large global telecommunications company who are seeking a wireless L3 engineer to support an implementation project.

Project is 6 months + with a possible extension.

Skills Required for L3 Wireless Engineer

  • Minimum CCNA + Wireless, prefer CCNP
  • Experience with wireless site surveys
  • Willing to travel (rare)

    • Nice to have:

  • CWNA
  • Cisco Prime Experience with Cisco Mobility Service Engine (MSE)
  • Ekahau Enterprise Site Survey Suite Knowledge
  • IOT Experience

    • Duties

  • Performing Pre and Post Site Survey's using Ekahau Enterprise Site Survey
  • Implementing and Configuring Cisco Wireless LAN Controller as per Documentation
  • Follow Physical Installation and Migrating Access Points to Controller
  • Creating or Updating Site Documentation in English
  • Working with Cisco Prime
  • Creating Sites
  • Creating Templates
  • Implementing Best Practice
  • Following Change Control, Incident Management and Problem Management Meetings
