WordPress Ninja Needed for Theme/Template Development

Description

We are looking for a talented, innovative and highly experienced PHP/WordPress developer who can take PSD files and build an advanced, custom WordPress site. The theme will be sold on ThemeForest, so an essential part of this job is the ability to strictly adhere to the WordPress guidelines published by them. This is non-negotiable, so if you are not prepared to study and learn their guidelines, this won’t be the job for you.

The site design has already been created in Photoshop, so no design work is required. We just need a “ninja” coder who is passionate about their work and wants to be involved in an exciting project.

This is a GREAT opportunity for someone who loves to work in WordPress and would like to be part of a winning team with big plans for the future. We have additional adjunct projects in the pipeline, plus we will be needing someone who can offer ongoing post-sale Support, so there is more to this job than just developing the initial site design. Additionally, as an added incentive, we are offering a generous Bonus if you do a stellar job and are able to create a product that sails through the rigorous ThemeForest review process.

There is a tight timeline for this project….it must be completed by December 31st….so we need someone who is able to work quickly and efficiently, who pays close attention to details and who is able to produce the highest quality results. The project as a whole will be broken down into manageable segments to make it easier to handle, and milestones will be created as the basis for progress payments as work is completed. Work at your own time….but you must be able to show results and get things done!

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills Required

An expert understanding of WordPress (including the ability to customize aspects of WordPress as needed)

Ability to strictly adhere the WordPress guidelines as published by ThemeForest

Expert knowledge of php, js, css3 and html5

Knowledge of WordPress shortcodes and ability to make recommendations for appropriate plugins

Knowledge of WordPress widgets and ability to create custom widgets

Knowledge of WooCommerce

General Work Skills Required

Ability to produce the highest quality results

Self-motivated and work efficiently and quickly

Excellent communication skills

Excellent organizational skills, able to multi-task

Ability to produce regular progress reports

Attention to detail (very important)

Excellent references

Work samples required

Proper equipment and internet service to get the job done properly
