We’re a small theme shop with free and premium themes on the market. The free themes are available on WordPress.org as well.We are in need of a good WordPress theme developer for a support role.
Some of our requirements (must-haves) are:
= Good communication skills and English (written) skills
= Ability to read between the lines and figure out problems for customers, and propose solutions
= Patience and manners
= Make tweaks to theme code if needed
= Work on theme customization (special requests, development) if needed
Our lead developer will first train the developer so he/she won’t be going in blind. The lead developer will also shadow the chosen candidate on a regular basis, providing suggestions on how to improve answers or tackle hard inquiries.
While this is not a true development role, it is an excellent opportunity to connect with real customers, solve problems on the fly, and be part of a team that is very dynamic and diverse. It is also a great opportunity to learn and grow with us, as we may be adding more developers to our team in the near future.
Expected work load to start with: at least an hour a day.
