My client - an established and highly successful technical Management Consultancy - is looking for experienced Workday Analysts with functional expertise in HCM Business Process and/or Domain Security configurations and advanced knowledge of Workday HCM with at least one other functional area: Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Onboarding, Time Tracking, or Absence.

The role will conduct working sessions with key stakeholders and SMEs to gather, understand, and analyse business requirements and create business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents, and test cases.

The role will advise on industry standards to provide suggestions to achieve clean configuration and streamlined processes then assume responsibility for configuration workbooks for assigned areas.

Required expertise:

  • Highly analytical with strong functional skills in areas in Workday HCM, Compensation, Absence, Security, and Reporting
  • Multiple years of HR systems experience with several years of experience in Workday, including configuration (at least 1-2 end to end implementation experience)
  • Excellent problem solving, data analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Experience and detailed understanding of Workday, its construct, scope and processes relating to Core HCM (Security and/or Compensation certification preferred)
  • Experience of working in a Functional role on at least two Workday implementations for large multinational organisations
  • Proven experience of analysing complex Human Resources strategic initiatives in order to translate requirements into simple and standard solutions
  • Proven experience of designing end-to-end solutions with both a process and functional lens in order to deliver in line with desires of a future-state Operating Model
  • Experience of work with or alongside a System Implementation partner

This is initially a three month contract but is very likely to extend as this is a large scale implementation project within a major international organisation. Based in Surrey/South West London, there will also be the opportunity to work remotely for a portion of the week.
