Description
For this specific job we are looking for a technical MicroStrategy, Developer, Engineer, Java, Banking expert to work for an international bank in Amsterdam. You need to understand the usage of the MicroStrategy suite (desktop, developer, system manager, operations manager, object manager, command manager, integrity manager) and the infrastructure it runs on. The team's goal is to deliver value to business and customers by taking 24x7 end-to-end responsibility for IT availability and performance. This is done by providing support to the users via our incident/problem/change processes and by maintaining the MicroStrategy platform.
Skill set required for the ideal MicroStrategy, Developer, Engineer, Java, Banking
- 5 or more years' experience in MicroStrategy platform (pref. run/maintenance)
- Knowledge and/or education on Bachelor level in IT, Information Studies, Software engineering or a related discipline
- Knowledge of System manager, Object manager and Operations Manager
- Experience in Java, Javascript and WebSphere environment
- Knowledge/experience in ITIL/BiSL Service Management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to apply analytical and creative thought
- Motivated, independent and proactive work attitude
- Basic knowledge of databases such as SQL, Teradata, Hadoop and NoSQL
- Loves to work in a challenging and high demanding environment
