IT Senior Business Analyst - Amsterdam
To All European Contractors - I am working with an industry leading client that are seeking a Senior Business Analyst based remotely for 2 months and then onsite in Netherlands, Amsterdam.
Role responsibilities
- Perform the gathering, analysis, documentation and management of business requirements, business processes, business rules and related information.
- Write project documentation, update and maintain application documentation, create functional specifications, impact analysis and use cases relevant to the implementation of new processes.
- Define the necessary acceptance criteria, giving input to developers and test analysts.
- Analysis of functional defects.
- As part of the quarterly release delivery, to execute the testing cases.
- Attend to client and internal meetings, being able to lead them bringing seniority, proposing improvements and best-practices to offer a better service.
- Direct communication with project stakeholders.
- Risk identification and management.
- Provide support and analysis for the resolution of incidents, problems, requests and changes
- Ensure a smooth transition from project phase to maintenance.
Candidate profile
- Knowledge of the business processes involved within the Public/Healthcare sector would be desirable.
- Functional Testing experience.
- Java related applications experience desirable.
- Extensive experience in designing, developing and implementing solution processes and procedures.
- Substantial experience of the IT Project management life cycle.
- Be customer focused with ability to identify and understand the customer's needs.
- Have creative problem solving and analysis skills with an ability to identify develop and implement solutions to gaps to meet the needs of the business.
- Any Business Analyst certification would be desirable: BCS, ISEB, IIBA CCBA or CBAP.
- Excellent written English communication skills, to the level required to own solutions and appropriate documentation.
- Experience working with remote teams would be desirable.
- Ideally have understanding of ITIL processes and have experience of working in an application maintenance environment.
- Minimum experience of 8 years performing part/all the activities requested.
