Description

Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Development Manager (ETL), a six month contract paying £600 a day, inside of IR35 - fully remote for a consultancy working on data projects for a financial service client. Take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of strategic and tactical data projects, delivering agreed business outcomes and coordinating various technology and change teams to achieve this.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make sure that project deliverables can achieve customer goals, within a well-considered total cost of ownership
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders, both directly and via the project team, to ensure the timely delivery of solutions which support the business
  • Make sure that the reputation of the organisation is built, safeguarded, and kept foremost in mind, while interacting with all stakeholders
  • Set the strategic direction of the team, supported by the senior technical members

Candidates must have the following experience:

  • Strong data governance knowledge essential
  • Proved track record of delivering large scale programs in Agile methodology
  • Proven track record in managing key stakeholders in complex environment
  • Experience of working on ETL/Data Warehouse/Data Management projects. Strong knowledge of DW concepts, ETL pipelines, API integrations, Metadata management and someone with good data analyst capabilities.
  • Proven experience leading a project team both onshore & offshore
  • Knowledge of Informatica EDC & Informatica AXON
  • Knowledge of Java, API, UI integrations essential
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations/requirements will be an advantag
  • Knowledge of other data governance technologies will be an advantage
