Scrum Master/Delivery Lead - Dublin - € per day
Major Banking Organisation has an urgent requirement for an Experienced Scrum Master/Delivery Lead who can oversee the implementation of a new Software Product.
The Scrum Master/Delivery lead SME will liaise with Agile Development teams, product owners, BA's and other key stakeholders using JIRA, Confluence and other CI/CD tools to deliver a new Customer Experience product.
Key technologies being used in the development of this product include Micro Services, Full Stack Java, and Front End presentation layer technologies. Consequently, a knowledge of these technologies and some previous experience working with same is an essential pre-requisite for any prospective Scrum Master/Delivery lead SME.
While the role will present a challenge, it comes with a generous daily rate and offers ambitious Scum Master's the chance to gain experience in a cutting-edge environment with one of the main Pillar Banks in Ireland.
Responsibilities of role
Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies.
Working with internal business partners to gather requirements, prototyping, architecting, implementing/updating solutions, building and executing test plans, performing quality reviews, managing operations, and triaging and fixing operational issues.
Work in close collaboration with development teams and provide technical leadership for projects related to automation of application rollout.
Oversees the development and implementation of an organization-wide system.
Define and manage resource requirements and allocations, monitors and improves quality, and ensures 'best practice' development techniques.
Works closely with relevant departments in development and implementation of application programs having impact on improving the business.
Directs, motivates and develops staff, maximising their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
Essential Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (Level 8)/diploma in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or Appropriate Equivalent field.
Scrum Master/Agile certification (Essential)
Project Management Certification (Essential)
Good experience with JIRA, Confluence and other CI/CD tools
6+ years work experience as a Scrum Master on Software projects, preferably involving one or more of the following technologies: Java, Spring, Hibernate, AS400, DB2, MSQL, Jasper, SSRS
Expert level knowledge of Agile frameworks, Methodology and Techniques
Experience working in Banking and/or Financial Services Sector
In addition to the skills and experience outlined above, the ideal candidate will be down to earth and not afraid of innovation. Good leadership qualities, strong communications skills and a high level of adaptability are also essential.
