Your Role:
Do you want to design and build best-in-class, enterprise scale applications using the latest technologies? Do you have proven track record of developing front to back micro-services and API based solution?
Your Team:
You'll be working with a distributed Agile teams based out of either India, UK (London) or Poland with approximately a team size of 5-15 people that develops a suite of applications for Group Technology. These systems are the backbone of the bank, We also are expected to work closely with their Operations team partners to provide global solutions for varied challenging business requirements.
Our team cares deeply about continuous improvement of the development process through automation. We use Continuous Integration for quick feedback cycles and are currently working on achieving Continuous Delivery. Collaboration is highly valued and pair programming is common practice.
We use Scrum and apply Agile practices. You'll have Software Craftsmanship at the heart of what you do, striving for quality and efficiency through automation.
Your Expertise:
- 5+ year of experience in delivering Java based business applications using frameworks, libraries and databases.
- Strong knowledge and experience with core Java and with Java 8
- Experience of building micro-services, data service layers and REST API.
- Spring Boot, JPA and Hibernate.
- Unit testing/testing frameworks.
- Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
- An understanding of standards, methods, techniques, templates as defined by SDLC including code source control and release workflow including CI CD pipeline.
- Concurrency, Multithreading and IO/NIO
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
