For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for an enthusiastic frontend Java developer
The Developer develops, together with an Agile/Scrum team, online and backend applications and portals. Innovation, Reliability and high quality solutions are key when it comes to software development. Test Driven Development, unit testing, test automation, continues integration and continues delivery are therefor always in scope of the projects that are in the hands of the Agile/Scrum teams. There is an intensive collaboration with application management departments and the focus is shifting gradually towards Dev/Ops making the teams front-to-back responsible for their product.
The bank uses the following technologies and frameworks: Java 1.6, JScript, AngularJS, Spring MVC, Spring WS, JUnit, Sonar, Jenkins, Maven, Hibernate, SoapUI, JMeter en Selenium.
Proven experience in data analysis, SQL and performance profiling is strongly preferred.
Tasks Sr. Frontend Java Developer (QR3535)
- Develop and test Java based online and backend applications and portals
- Support on solving production disruptions, conducting research into the root cause and drafting amendments;
Requirements Sr. Frontend Java Developer (QR3535)
- In depth knowledge and experience in Sybase ASE 15 en SQL scripting;
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Knockout, JQuery, and SQL scripting;
- Hands-on mentality;
- Communicative and collaborative;
- Wide experience with high critical environments, preferably gained within financial institutions;
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development method;
- Team player who is able to communicate well with all parties involved;
- Experience in Banking Sector and transaction processing is preferred.
