TASKS
Design the set-up for the flows on Sterling File Gateway
Construct the new Sterling File Gateway flows using the Build&Deploy framework
If needed, develop new Sterling File Gateway features
Assist testers in the testing of the new created flows
Troubleshoot & rework defects
Deploy & activate the flows on the production platform
Design, run & document volume/performance tests on the Sterling File Gateway platform
Document the set-up's
Integrate the specific Sterling File Gateway solution with other developed subsystems
PROFILE:
Required experience: minimum 3 years in IT development/engineering
Technical skills
MUST HAVE'S (in-depth knowledge):
- IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling Filegateway, Sterling Secure Proxy and Sterling External Authentication Server
ARE A PLUS:
-Unix (Linux and/or Solaris)
-Scripting: Shell, Awk, Perl, C
-Performance tuning
-Monitoring
-Programming languages: understand Java code and assist developers in solving problems related to Middleware use.
-XML
NICE TO HAVE'S:
-Middleware) Infrastructure automation via Scripting/development (Python, bash, Java, ...)
-Messaging Middleware (preferably IBM WebSphere MQ)
Java Application Servers and webservers (preferably JBoss/Apache)
Network/architecture knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP, Proxy)
Security knowledge
