I am currently seeking a Front End Developer for my client based in West London for a six month contract.Responsibilities include: - Deliver new and enhance existing websites.- Follow responsive design principles to ensure that websites support multiple devices and multiple browsers covering desktop and mobile. - Support your team to meet sprint commitments.- Ensure that impediments of any kind are escalated and long term solutions pursued.- Delivery high quality well tested software that meets agreed requirements.- Promote best software development practices.- Support and promote agile practices including Scrum and Kanban.
Key Skills:- Good experience of creating web sites using HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3. You may be more specialised in one of these areas. - Exposure to JavaScript libraries such as React, Angular, jQuery, Backbone, node and Grunt. - Understand the principles of scalable and maintainable object-oriented JavaScript code.- Solid understanding of software engineering. - Experience writing tests, automating these and adopting TDD desirable. - Team working experience.- Exposure to Java development or Java web frameworks or a desire to learn these is nice to have.
We are looking for an extremely talented and highly skilled contract Web Developer who can start immediately and hit the ground running. Technology-wise we're looking for someone with proven years of experience in front-end skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery) and highly experienced on OO design, C# and ASP.net.
