Senior Developer - Core Java - Oracle - SQL - Investment Banking - Bucharest - Romania
A brilliant opportunity has arisen through a high-profile IT consultancy firm to work at a leading investment bank for a Senior Java Developer. The role is contract and based in Bucharest, offering £600 - £650 day rate.
This project is working within a bank's credit risk management team who are designing a replacement for a credit risk management platform for the credit risk officers. The bank's design has been carried out in London with the development being carried out in Bucharest. The bank have asked for a Senior Java developer to assist with the delivery of the platform in Bucharest.
The role is very hands-on role in the existing development teams, with you providing guidance and giving feedback to the development managers.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on development experience in core Java - exposure to functional programming is a plus.
- Experience of relational databases, SQL, Oracle and Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience of the following is desirable: Spring, Tomcat, Drools, Camel
- Exposure to Java profiling and performance optimization.
- Experience with Hibernate
- Experience of working with globally distributed development teams.
- Messaging Technology and Tools eg: JMS, MQ, Solace or comparable systems
