My client, a huge investment bank based in London, are looking to take on a Grid Tools Engineer to work within their High Performance Computing team who would be responsible for designing, building and implementing a series of tools and systems to improve the overall visibility and functionality of the grid service.The ideal candidate will have;
Business
* A record of delivering in an enterprise service environment providing a managed service to multiple customers
* Experience of development projects from design through build to hand-over to production support teams
* Track record of integrating shrink-wrapped and open source products
Technical
* Tibco/DataSynapse GridServer 5.1/6.2
* Data analysis, visualisation and presentation
* Log analysis tools
* UI design and data presentation
* Java or C# development
* Databases (Oracle preferred)
This role would be based in London paying £ per day on a 6 month rolling contract.
