Proteus Europe is searching for an experienced embedded software developer to begin a long term contract based in Antwerp, Belgium.Our Client :-

In support of network service providers and broadcasters, our client ranks among the world-leading suppliers of digital content delivery services and home access devices, including set-top-boxes and broadband gateways.
Your New role :-
You will be an experienced Software Developer. This contract is long term.
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; Master degree is desirable.
Experience:
-Mandatory experience with embedded Linux application development and C as programming language
-Experience with real-time or other operating systems and other programming languages (C++, Java) is desirable
-Resource constraint device/sensor software
-Network protocols (HTTP, MQTT, XMPP)
-Cloud infrastructure (AWS, SoftLayer) and automation (Chef, Puppet)
-Git / Github
-Jenkins
-Overall profile needs to be a senior software developer with minimum 7 years of hands-on development experience
Technical and communication skills:
-Self-starter, able to work autonomously, detail oriented, and ability to work under pressure and short timelines.
-Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
-Result oriented and highly flexible (also with relation to tasks).
-Dynamic and disruptive environment experience preferred.
Language: Fluent English is mandatory
