Senior Java Developer - Stirling up to £450 p/dayThis is a rare opportunity to work with leading technologies on a major platform transformation project, streamlining deal booking, lifecycle operations and publication within a leading investment bank.
The successful candidate will join the FX IT team as a development specialist, working on a range of initiatives to
- Transform persistence and modelling of loaded and associated data
- Update middle and front office application suite
- Streamline and compress front to back deal flows
As many of the following as possible - Key Skills:
Java, Oracle, SQL, Websphere, Spring, XML/XSLT, Java Server Pages, HTML5/Angular/REST Services, Ajax, Hibernate, SVN, Cognos Report development, Front Office experience, FX
Banking/finance and FX experience is NOT essential but very nice to have.
Location: Stirling
Rate: Up to £450p/day
Start: ASAP (can wait 4 weeks)
Duration: 6 or 12 months initial, scope for multiple extensions
