Software Engineer - Luxembourg
Role/Area:
- join the AD Cash Settlement unit who deals with the delivery of enhancement request (ER463011) to the New Continuous Cash Instruction Processing system (NCCIP)
Tasks/Responsibilities Area:
- produce Functional Specifications
- produce Technical Specifications
- participate and support the application development activities
- provide technical expertise in preparation of the automated test scenarios (Junit, D2SG)
- deliver/support an automated continuous integration framework for a set of applications (Jenkins/SonarQube)
- ensure daily progress reporting
- interact with the functional, development and testing teams in Prague and Luxembourg
- provide 1st line support during production rollout and post implementation phases
Qualifications/Required Skills:
- strong technical expertise in C++, Java, JavaEE, SQL and Linux
- fast learner, solution orientated
- capacity to quickly understand and enhance existing applications
- good understanding of Messaging (JMS, OAQ), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Straight Through Processing (STP) concepts
- good knowledge of Jboss/Oracle products
- ability to work in a team distributed across multiple locations
Additional Domain & Business Skills:
- knowledge of JSF andJavascript
- experience in Cash Settlement processing is considered as an advantage
- ability to work in an international environment
- good command of English is expected.
