Role: OpenPages - Senior Consulting Engineer

Role & Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a senior engineer who has experience defining architectures, configuring software, and implementing solutions for customers deploying OpenPages software and associated applications. Your will spend roughly 80% of your time configuring and implementing applications for clients and the other 20% assisting the business with the development of proposals and supporting business development activities.
You must be willing to travel for up to 60% of your time.
Essential Experience:
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience implementing packaged applications, preferably financial applications software.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience with programming XML, Java using OO concepts, in a commercial environment.
- At least 1 year of medium-sized project management and technical leadership experience.
- Familiarity in working within, and defining, a structured project delivery methodology.
- Ability to facilitate and perform business and application requirements gathering sessions.
- In-depth understanding of Web Applications, Oracle database, and J2EE Application Server technology, including JSPs, Servlets, IBM WebSphere/BEA WebLogic.
- Excellent interpersonal communications and technical writing skills.
- Strong customer-centric attitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity in working within a structured project delivery methodology.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with Risk Management, Business Intelligence, Corporate Governance, Data Asset Management and/or Business Process Management solutions.
- Familiarity/Experience in the Financial Services Industry.
- Hands-on experience deploying financial applications.
- Advanced degrees in Business, Engineering or Computer Sciences.
- Background in working for a software vendor consulting department
