Our client are recruiting for an experienced Java Developer to join them on an extendable contract basis in Stockholm, Sweden.
Senior Java developer
- Experienced in developing and maintain Java applications including rich client developed in Swing/Jide and server running in Weblogic using Spring and database Oracle.
- Experienced in using GIT as source version handling.
- Track record within the Energy Markets - Nordic Power Trading business.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Analyse and design solutions that will accelerate business development and time to market
- Contribute to design of new/existing Java application (cooperation with cross border team)
- Develop existing Java application (according to agreed technology and following the design patterns in the internally developed framework)
- Create new functionality of the application requested by the business users (according to requirements delivered by the business users and the application architect)
- Communicate in the team and to the business users
Minimum requirements:
- Have minimum of 5 years of experience in programming Java
- Advanced in Java including Spring, Swing, MVC
- Advanced in using Weblogic as Application Server
- Advanced in SQL (Oracle)
- Have experience in Spring, Jide, GIT and Webservices
- Have experience in Maven.
- Have proven experience in creating Java Swing clients preferable using Java 7
- Be able to work locally in Solna
- Have experience in working in international team
- Have experience in working with other team members on distance
- Speak and write Swedish and English fluently

- English, Swedish
