Description
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher
8-12 years of software development experience
5+ years total OO development experience
5-7 years of Java EE development experience
Investment/financial services experience is highly desired
Skills and Knowledge:
Capable of completing OOD and development of the most complex components of the application
Experienced with building framework for modern transactional and data processing applications
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment while meeting deliverables
Curiosity to stay abreast with new and emerging technologies and concepts and to find ways to apply those to business problems
Plays a key role in resolving technical roadblocks involving multiple technologies
Strong verbal and written communications, must be able to actively engage other team members
Technical
Experience with many of following concepts and technologies desired:
Application development using Java EE, Spring framework
Java, Solaris, Oracle Certifications preferred.
Understanding of and experience with Micro-Services Architecture concepts and emerging patterns such as APIs, JAX-RS, REST/JSON
Relational databases like DB2 or Oracle as well as NOSQL databases
