OPENTEXT DEVELOPER (CONTENT SERVER/OSCRIPT, LIVELINK)

The contract is with a large consultancy to be on assignment at a client site in Luxembourg. The client is looking for an OpenText Developer (Content Server/Oscript).

Tasks & Responsibilities

. Support the evolution of interfacing systems, based mostly on Web services
. Maintenance/development of Web services
. Minor improvements and customizations
. Configuration and customizations of built-in features of content server
. Participate on particular feasibility studies, configuration issues, proof-of-concept tasks, related to one of the systems mentioned below.

Skills and Experience

. University IT degree with minimum 8 year experience in IT;
. At least 7 years of experience with OpenText Content Sever developments, in particular:
o Configuration of built-in features of Content Server (version 10 or higher would be considered as an advantage)
o Implementation of modules, either from the software provider (OpenText) or 3rd parties
o Extensive experience with customizing existing or developing new features for Content Server
o Extensive experience with OScript and Livelink SDK (Livelink Builder or newer)
o Extensive experience with Content Server APIs (LAPI, webservices)
o Extensive experience with HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, web developments
o Java and/or .NET, ideally in connection with Content Server (use of LAPI or webservices)
o Customviews, appearances
o Webforms, workflows
o Content Server database structures, livereports
o Search configuration, facets
o Document migrations to/from Content Server
o Metadata management: (custom) categories, attributes, classifications
o Testing experience
o Experience with user management, directory services module
o Experience in the following OpenText modules: CLM package, Enterprise Connect, WebDAV, AGA, Classifications, Search, E-sign, E-link
o Upgrades between different versions of Content Server (upgrade to 10.5 would be considered as an advantage)
o Version control systems, preferable Subversion
o Experience with other document management systems would be considered as an advantage
o Experience in Evolutive maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activite
o Certificates for Open Text products, Developer or Administrator would be considered an advantage (non-mandatory).

Excellent language skills in English, both written and spoken.
French will be a plus.
