Within the Software Development department of our client in the R&D sector we are looking for a Software Developer.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months +
Location: Venlo
Languages: English and Dutch (preferred)
Being part of one of our product development teams (4 other software colleagues) candidate is responsible for creating clear specifications, making efficient and innovative design choices regarding a future service tooling. Main stakeholders are the other members of the team and the colleagues of the service department.
For testing and implementation he/she works closely with test specialist and software architects, ensuring the design meets the project requirements, and can be implemented successfully in the overall software architecture.
With a continuous drive and an ambitious attitude, continuously looking for opportunities to push our state of the art Embedded software development techniques further. All of this to serve our customer needs best.
Goal of the role
Developing web technologies, be able to process large amounts of data. Developing and adjusting service tooling for new(er) generation products based on html5, Javascript, Java, Webserver, Stylesheets, XML
Who are we looking for?
Candidate has a MSc in Software Engineering or Web User Interface. Technical affinity is required. 5 years of work experience in a comparable role in a high tech industry/modern user interface development.
Knowledge of and experience with
-web technology (html5, JavaScript, XML, XSL)
-browser technology (Internet Explorer, chrome)
-web server technology (IIS, tomcat)
-relevant websecurity considerations
-integration the above into a Windows based controller platform (knowledge required on Visual Studio, TFS)
-knowledge on build automations
To be successful the candidate is accurate, has profound technological knowledge, pro active, is able to keep a complete overall picture and can adjust to the standard.
Candidate has profound knowledge - verbal and written - of English, Dutch is a pre. Candidate is permissioned to work in the Netherlands, and able to provide, if requested, a certificate of conduct
