On behalf of one of our clients, an international financial institution, located in Luxembourg, we are searching for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:
Senior Java Software Developer (f/m) - Luxembourg F954
Tasks/responsibilities:
- Technical System Design, Development Implementation, Unit Testing and Acceptance Testing
- Functional and technical documentation
- Provide support for Business IT queries
- Working as part of an application development unit reporting to a Development team leader
Qualifications/required skills:
University degree or equivalent (Level 8) in a computer based discipline.
The candidate must have at least 5 years of industrial experience with the below:
- Java technologies (EJB, JMS, MDB, JaxB, JPA, JSF, JSP)
- JavaEE Application Servers (ideally Redhat EAP Jboss or Oracle Weblogic)
- Oracle database, SQL and PL/SQL
- Working with Linux environment. Basic knowledge of ksh or bash
- Writing technical documentation in English
- Analytical skills using UML
- Continuous Integration tools (ideally Maven, Jenkins, Selenium)
- English speaking (not necessarily mother tongue) - knowledge of French will ease the communication
- Must be a team player with good communications skills and must be a self-starter with minimum support
The role would require you to work on development, support & maintenance activities and must be flexible when required.

Location: Luxembourg
Basis: 5 days per week
