Data warehouse and Java Developer. One of the my financial Banking clients is urgently looking for a Data warehouse and Java Developer for a 6-12 month contract in Luxembourg.
What you will do?
- Design, develop and test a large-scale, custom distributed software system using latest Java technologies and Oracle DB
- More specifically, you will be designing and populating a data warehouse in near Real Time which will be used as a data layer to surface data to a new Web Portal
- Employ agile development practices including test and deployment automation as well as Continuous Integration using Jenkins to improve overall execution speed and product quality.
- Be a technology advocate and share expertise with other team members.
- Be a key partner to the business and the rest of the team throughout the delivery cycle.
- Think through challenging and interesting problems and solve them with your team.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Haves:
- An Agile mindset, team player, quality oriented worker
- Experience in Object Oriented programming, building resilient and scalable applications
- Java 7/8, WAS, SQL, Oracle DB, WMQ, Active MQ, Spring, Maven
- Proficient experience using CI and automated testing tools
- Be a fast learner
Nice to have:
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Kafka, MyBatis
