Urgent Role - Security Cleared Java Developer

Rate: £/day
Duration: 6-24 months
Location: London

I am working with a number of clients who require experienced contract Software Developers to join their national security teams in London.

Candidates must hold the highest level of security clearance and will have in depth experience of Java as well as in Scrum/Agile development, software design, requirements analysis, and development on new software technologies.
Our clients are some of the most exciting in both the secure space so if you have experience of UK Government working practices and Java then please do give me a call.

Required skills;
- In depth experience in Java and the use of object oriented design;
- Experience in design, development, test and integration of quality software;
- Experience of designing and developing innovative software solution;
- Knowledge of Lean/Agile development practices;
- Experience of Systems Integration;
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and associated tools such as Confluence, Jira and Wiki's
- Experience with good DevOps approach and associated tools e.g. Bamboo, BitBucket, Stash & Jenkins
- Experience with or interest in Model Driven Architecture
- Experience in relational database technologies; such as Oracle 11g and MySQL
- Experience in graph database technologies; such as Neo4J and OrientDB
- Experience in some of the following programming languages: GO, SQL, PL/SQL, Ruby, Scala
- Experience in some of the following frameworks: EJB, JSF, Spring, JUnit, EasyMock, Play
- Experience with various open source products, e.g. Apache Foundation products
- Experience working within an ITIL based service delivery environment
- Experience in non SQL database technologies: such as MongoDB and Elastic such.
