Senior Developer - London - Java
Our market leading PE backed client requires a Senior client and Front End JavaScript Developer who will be responsible for application development and data management. The company is in exponential growth and as a result are investing in people, process and System improvement as well as cutting edge Technology, Systems and Applications.
You must be from an Agile environment (small to medium sized business and teams) and not be from a Legacy environment.
Key Requirements of the Senior JavaScript Developer:
- At least 5 years + of recent Java/JavaScript experience.
Experience of the following is required:
- Client and Server Side JavaScript (eg.Node.js/Angular.js)
- Python or Scala would be beneficial but not essential
- DevOps knowledge
- Modern web development frameworks such as React and Angular
- Relational databases, ideally MySQL
- Microservices and containers, eg Docker would be beneficial but not essential
- Modern programming concepts such as Functional Programming, Reactive programming, TDD, BDD would be beneficial but not essential
- Cloud-based deployments (AWS/Azure/Google etc) would be beneficial but not essential
