Description

The Advance Boarder Control (ABC) Identity and Access Management (IdAM) Architect will assist with the selection, implementation and integration of Access Management Services Layer functionality and management tool set, focusing on authentication/authorisation and roles management integrated to central Client services, such as Active Directory and CDP.

Description:
The role requires someone with significant IdAM skills as well as strong design and problem-solving background. Understanding of Access Management principles related to OpenId Connect as applied to Microservices with Spring Security as core capabilities of the IAM systems.
The Architect will work as directed by Digital Service at the Board (DSAB) IdAM Lead Architect), ABC Enterprise Architect and ABC Data Lead Architect.

Essential Duties:
Advise the team on the right IdAM option for ABC and produce a high level design
Be a technical resource by developing low level design that can be implemented for Internal IAM systems.
Design and re-develop new and existing micro services.
Develop Web Services based interfaces to Internal IAM services.
Develop and maintain Internal/Vendor product interfaces using vendor supplied APIs/SDKs.
Understand and develop existing interfaces eg Postgres.
Work with the DSP Identity Management toolset.
Knowledge of build and deploy applications using DevOps principles.

Good To Have:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Complete and demonstrated knowledge of the Java programming language and related environments.
Experience with Identity Management and Role Management and experience with Active Directory
Demonstrated ability to work in independently and lead developers.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
