Description
As a Senior Java Developer/Team Lead you will be working on a variety of greenfield projects across the business. As part of the new Innovation Lab, you will be given a chance to work on brand new flexible platforms to try new things and be creative - allowing you to bring your own ideas to the table. Ultimately you will have a big impact on this brand new part of the business.
Requirements
- Professional IT qualification and/or proven working experience with software development
- Previous experience as a technical lead in a large scale software development project
- Advanced experience in Java technologies including Spring (Boot/Cloud hihgly desirable) Frameworks is required
- Exposure to stream processing (eg: Akka) and BigData technologies (eg: Cassandra, Kafka, Hazzelcast etc.) is beneficial
- Strong ownership of your work and a desire to make immediate contributions that have a ripple throughout the product and our customer base
- Ability to deliver in a fast paced and iterative development environment using agile methodologies
- Strong knowledge of Application Server (JBoss), Security and Mobile platforms
- In depth experience of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and similar design techniques
- In depth experience of full software life cycle management including onshore/offshore collaboration
