Mobile Developer - 6 months - Near Fife
My client has two final requirements left for Mobile Developers with 3D maths/3D software development experience to join them on a 6 month contract (extensions or temp-to-perm options likely), based fully-on-site near Fife, Scotland.
Ideally you will have had experience working with, and implementing, Real Time 3D systems. Whilst the client isn't a video games studio, they feel that games development skills are very relevant and relational to the techniques and work they do. The same is also true for those who have worked on engineering (ie oil and gas) or physics based software previously.
This contract role is focused on building native apps on top of their proprietary 3D engine.
The client are fairly technology agnostic, and will consider candidates with a strong background in any object-oriented language (including Java, C++, C#, AS3 etc). They primarily use C++.
They work in an interesting technical environment utilising the latest cloud technologies, and provide a forum for those with a strong applied mathematics/physics background to work with complex solutions and algorithms on an interesting commercial product.
Candidates will get the chance to develop across platforms, including (but not limited to): for iPhone; Android; and Desktops.
What is absolutely crucial is a background and ability with 3D mathematics, including data structures and algorithms.
