Description
Streambase Developer - Senior with profound Java and Linux knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Bachelor degree in computer science
- 7+ years' working experience in software development with significant Java experience in multi-threaded and asynchronous programming, preferably in an financial environment
- Proficiency in using StreamBase Complex Event Processing platform with expert-level Linux administration, shell scripting skills, FX and Structured Products
- Database experience such as Oracle, SQL server, including database design and SQL enhancement. No-SQL databases (MongoDB, etc.) in addition to enterprise messaging (IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, TIBCO Rendezvous, TIBCO FTL)
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Developing features for current and new applications by building in StreamBase technology in the area of Trading and Pricing (Equity/FX)
- Testing Development of StreamBase Unit Tests, stress tests harnesses, performance benchmarking, back testing simulations and getting involved with User Acceptance Testing
- Taking full responsibility over the application QA cycle
- Creating and improving continuous integration and delivery as well as automatic testing system
- Administrating, monitoring and scripting to setup, automate and optimise application's lifecycle
- Troubleshooting of business-critical applications as well as deploying of applications before market opening or after market closing
