Senior Software Engineer - Hong Kong - Java, Redis.io, SOLR, AWS
Senior Java Developer is required by a company specialising in eLearning. Candidates should have a passion for the latest technologies and be willing to travel to Hong Kong for a period of up to 4 weeks.
KEY SKILLS
- 5+ years Java programming experience developing J2EE based systems.
- MUST HAVE Demonstrable experience with designing & implementing Redis.io & Solr.
- Demonstrable experience with developing applications for AWS
- 5+ years EJB, JDBC experience
- Expert in Web based applications using various frameworks & technologies - Java code Optimization, Database query optimization, Load Balancing, Memory Management, Object Life cycle & Service design
- Extensively worked with the Java/J2EE design patterns, Java Regular Expressions, Object Oriented Analysis & design - Java/J2EE, SOA, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, Multi-threading, Linux in distributed system & Network Programming Systems development.
- Experience in designing & developing Java based rules, database designing, Datamodelling & data analysis
- Extensive experience & strong knowledge of design, Development & architect in Java applications, expertise in Core Java, J2EE, JMS, SOAP, REST, Web Services, Spring Frameworks, Hibernate, Spring MVC, IOC, Hibernate/JPA, JSP, Struts2
- Define & communicate all requirements related to the project planning, architecture, implementation, sizing, tuning, & scalability
- Experienced in Architecting, Design & Development, Performance Tuning & automation
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic work environment
- Provide technical & process leadership for performance test team through excellent business process knowledge & experience
