Data Scientist - Python/R Euros 60-65 p/hr
My client in Belgium is hiring within their cloud and big data divisions. They are a major name within technology R and D services and as such a great brand to work for. They are looking for experienced Data Scientist with Scala and Hadoop and R or Python. We are looking for Data Scientist who have "been around the track" and so are able to work without much need for direction. You will be working with a world class team and leveraging your Data Science/Big Data skills alongside Python, R and non-relational databases to create a process that will save the client Millions of euro's p/year. This could very well end up as a spin off product. A great opportunity for your career development!
Any exposure to machine learning, algorithms H2O.ai, KNIME, SparkML is a plus.
We also then will be examining your level of creativity and design skills to take on the task of Data Scientist new service offerings. Of course if you have already done programming with Scala and Hadoop work, then you will be at an advantage.
Although this is a contract position, we are hiring as if permanent - we will give you a 12 month rolling contract and you can expect a long term engagement.
