Description
My client in brussels is looking for junior/medior developer atleast until end of the year.
The team manages a number central architecture components and platforms. These were developed in-house over the passed ten to fifteen years and still being used intensively. These systems are highly critical and must be maintained in a way that guarantees 100% availability and robusteness. These system still regularly receive small to medium functional or technical updates.
Main task:
Perform general maintenance and support tastks on these systems and implement, test, document any changes that may become necessary (in relation to business or technical project requirements).
Excellent Java skills.
Excellent knowledge and experienced user of this open source Java projects and libraries:
- Spring (v3 & v4), Apache Commons (lang, logging, io, httpclient, configuration, collections), JSF 1.2, juel
- Familiar with XML and json processing using Java libs.
- Good knowledge of principles of encryption, web service protocols are also required.
The candidate should also have basic linux (red hat) skills.
- English is the only required language. French or Dutch is a bonus.
